A powerful bipolar (4-wire) NEMA17 stepper motor with 400 steps per revolution (0.9 degrees per step). This is one of the most powerful 0.9° NEMA17 motors, with a holding torque of 4200 g·cm (0.41 N·m, 58 oz·in). It has a current rating of 1.7 A, which is perfect for small drivers such as Allegro A4983 and A4988, and Texas Instruments DRV8811, DRV8818 and DRV8825, as found on Pololu and StepStick driver modules, and on boards such as gShield/grblShield and TinyG. It also works with higher -current drivers, such as those based on the TB6560 and TB6600. This an ideal general-purpose motor for the Shapeoko and eShapeoko, especially for finer work. We also stock 1.8° motors, which give more torque in the same size, or about the same torque in a smaller motor.
