The schematic is the same as the final board. The differences are some small details (also, the beta boards are green, not blue). The PCB is the same good quality as the final version.

We’ve made good progress on the eShapeOko kits this past weekend. I quality-checked the MakerSlide for all the remaining kits. We ran out of 500 mm pieces (because so many were damaged), so I cut two dozen of them out of longer pieces. I packed the rail for three-quarters of the remaining kits, and we put about half of them in shipping boxes. We have not yet packed the other items ordered along with the kits (where applicable).
It looks like we will be able to ship all of them this week. They’ll go out in no particular order, because it’s easier for us to pack several kits of the same size at once (but the serial numbers are allocated in the order they were bought, not in the order they’re packed or shipped).
For once, something arrives earlier than expected form a supplier! These lovely things landed today (I wasn’t expecting them until next week at the earliest). With uncharacteristic swiftness, I made them available in the store. I even wrote assembly instructions for them!
They’re my own design, so I’m a little excited. Two exclamation marks in a single post! Three, with the last one! OK, now four! Circular reference! (I’ll stop now.)
The best thing about the board is that, while the component layout is almost the same as that of the buildlog.net stepper shield, it is a new design from the ground up, carefully routed by hand, with an almost uninterrupted ground plane.
I think the DIP switches are a nice touch, too.
